Proposal Updates

Onchain: All proposals have met quorum and voting will end on Monday, February 23rd

[TPP-Draft] ZKsync Association Donation - This proposal is a donation request to support ZKsync Association’s purpose as a non-profit issuer of the ZK Token and steward of ZKsync governance. The total funding request for this proposal is 76M ZK (~$1.6M @$0.022).

[TPP-Draft] ZKsync Audit Reimbursement Program 2026 (ZARP v2) - This proposal requests funding for ZARP v2 through 2026. Many of you Delegates remember the original ZARP proposal [TPP-3] that was approved in May last year. ZARPv1 report to be posted by end of next week. The total funding request for this proposal is 205M ZK (~$4M @$0.02).

[TPP-Draft] ZKsync Immunefi Bug Bounty Program 2026 - This proposal seeks funding for the ZKsync bug bounty program on Immunefi. This is an existing program that was previously funded by Matter Labs and acts as a critical security measure to help identify vulnerabilities across different protocol components. The total funding request for this proposal is 100M ZK (~$2M @$0.02).

Live Token Program Updates

ZKnomics Staking Pilot Program: Season 1 of the ZKnomics Staking Pilot Program launched on Monday, February 9th! The ZKnomics Staking Pilot Program is a designed to test staking infrastructure, understand participant dynamics, and increase active voting power through its delegate-to-stake mechanism.

Key Metrics to date:

  • ~170M ZK staked, ~43% of season cap (400M)
  • Current APR target: 4% annualized
  • Net new active delegation since Feb 2: 94M ZK (total 1.045B)

Note to Delegates: The program requires participants to delegate their ZK to active Delegates in order to be eligible for rewards. This is an opportunity to gain more voting power by remaining active in voting participation. Visit the ZKnomics Staking Pilot FAQ to learn more.

Community Activation Program: Season 2 confirmation for existing initiatives to be communicated within the next week.

Ecosystem Updates

Secondary Governance Interface: alt.vote.zknation.io

The secondary ZKsync governance interface was launched in December. Shelby provided a walk through of the interface and pointed out a few unique features it has. Having a secondary interface helps ensure governance remains functional in the case of primary interface issues, and increases accessibility by providing an alternative and innovative user experience.

New Blog Post: Zero-Knowledge Proofs: A Practical Introduction

The ZKsync Association recently published this blog post to provide a introductory overview to what zero-knowledge proofs are, how they work at a high level and why they matter. It aims to make this technology more accessible and understandable to the general public and everyone interested in privacy-concealing, censorship-resistant and trustless systems.
