Last week we released Airbender Prime, the next version of the Airbender prover.
In our tests it proved 7,200 consecutive Ethereum mainnet blocks on a single NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 GPU, with 99% of blocks proved in under 10 seconds and all of them within 12. As far as we know, this is the first prover to show real-time Ethereum proving on one GPU. It currently leads the public EthProofs leaderboard on average proof time, GPU efficiency and cost.
Airbender Prime uses hash-based STARKs, which are designed to hold up against quantum computers, and it verifies on Ethereum using Keccak-256 commitments rather than pairing-based cryptography. Dual and quad GPU configurations are also available. The code is open source.
Airbender is the proving layer for ZKsync OS chains and Prividium, and prover development is one of the workstreams funded under TPP-18. The full write-up, benchmarks and design details are in the blog post. Happy to take questions here.
