Hey ZKsync community. We wanted to share where Amach Health is in the build and why ZKsync Era has been foundational to what we’re doing from day one.
What Amach Is
Amach Health is a decentralized health data protocol. The core premise is straightforward: the people who generate health data should own it, control it, and benefit from the value it creates. The platform gives users encrypted, individually isolated storage for their health records, on-chain verification of that data through zero-knowledge proofs, and a privacy-native AI layer that reasons over their data without ever retaining it.
The protocol is live on Sepolia. The iOS app is in TestFlight. The web platform is running. Users are generating and storing real health data today.
Why ZKsync Era
ZKsync Era is the verification and identity layer for everything Amach builds. The on-chain architecture handles ZK proof attestation of health data stored in users’ Storj vaults. The cryptographic proof confirms the existence and validity of a user’s data without exposing its contents. The data never moves. The proof does.
This matters because health data is the most sensitive personal data that exists. A verification layer that can confirm what data contains without seeing it is not a nice-to-have for this use case. It is the architecture the use case requires.
Where We Are
The foundation is complete and live:
Apple HealthKit integration pulling 15 health metrics into daily and longitudinal trend views. Encrypted Storj storage with each user’s data held in a cryptographically isolated bucket secured by wallet-derived credentials. On-chain ZK proof attestation of data validity through ZKsync Era. Single metric verification live, allowing users to prove specific health attributes on-chain without exposing underlying records. Venice AI inference through Luma, Amach’s health intelligence companion, with no prompt logging and no data retention outside the user’s encrypted environment. A persistent timeline layer that feeds into Luma’s memory, allowing users to log life events that provide context for their health metrics over time. Full web and iOS cohesion through a single wallet that carries seamlessly between environments.
What Is Being Built Next
The next development focus is expanding the ZK proof infrastructure into integrations and anonymous compute. The goal is connecting the verification layer to clinical trial platforms, research institutions, and precision medicine providers, building the bridge that allows those relationships to form without data ever changing hands.
Alongside this, anonymous compute pools built on multi-party computation architecture will enable population-level analysis across verified users without any individual’s data being exposed or centrally aggregated. The insight becomes collective. The data remains individual.
The Broader Thesis
The market is continually confirming the value of longitudinal health data at scale. The infrastructure question now is who holds it and who benefits. Every existing platform that has proven this value did so through a centralized model where data flows to the platform and value pools at the top.
Amach is built on the opposite architecture. User-held, ZK-verified, privacy-native by design. As the protocol grows and the verification layer connects to the institutions that need verified health data, the value that data creates flows back to the contributors who generated it.
ZKsync Era is what makes the verification layer real rather than theoretical. The proof is on-chain. The commitment is in the architecture.
