Community Brainstorm: Suggestion Box for RFP Ideas đź’ˇ

GM ZK Nation!

Following the launch of the Community Activation Pilot Program, our team at curiaLab has been really excited about the potential for us as a community to contribute directly. After a quick chat with Shelby, she suggested starting a forum thread to gather ideas for upcoming RFPs — so here we are!

Let’s make this a community-driven “suggestion box” to help the ZKsync Foundation identify the most impactful problems to solve.

Quick Recap

As a reminder, this program has 13.6M ZK ready to fund teams that can solve specific, predefined needs for the ecosystem. An RFP is basically the Foundation saying: “Here’s a problem we need solved. What’s your plan to solve it?”

To keep our ideas focused, all RFPs will fall into one of these four official categories:

RFP Category Description
Product Marketing & Community Activation Campaigns and events to increase ZKsync brand and solutions awareness in alignment to the broader industry calendar.
Adoption Enablement Content, such as videos or reports, or events that support onboarding, business opportunities, and activity on ZKsync.
Data & Transparency Initiatives that aggregate, summarize, and surface ZKsync activity.
Community Tooling Deploy tools that can scale effective community initiatives, with evidence of impact over the previous 12 months.

How to Suggest an Idea

To keep this thread organized and easy for the Foundation to review, I’d suggest everyone use a simple format for their ideas.

RFP Idea Title: [A clear, descriptive title for the RFP]

Category: [e.g., Data & Transparency]

Problem Statement: [In 1-2 sentences, what specific problem does this solve for ZK Nation?]

Proposed Solution: [Briefly, what would the RFP ask a team to build or do?]

Why it’s a Priority: [How does this help ZK Nation grow right now?]

What are the most pressing needs you see? What should the first RFPs focus on?
