Hello ZK community! We have been around this DAO for a while, and we feel it’s time to introduce ourselves, so, here we go.

SEEDGov is one of the verticals of SEEDOrg, a project born from the idea of sharing the knowledge we were gathering about the blockchain ecosystem to engage more users in it by providing them with quality information, real-life events, and insights into why blockchain technology matters.

Over time, SEEDOrg evolved into a multi-branch organisation, with SEEDGov becoming one of its pillars. At SEEDgov, we take pride in being one of the first organisations focused on contributing to the future of decentralised governance in web3 through active participation, community engagement, decision-making, and experimentation.

In our more than two years of existence, we’ve helped various DAOs to establish their building blocks, setting up initiatives that give them a solid structure, all while keeping decentralisation and community first as our guiding principles. At SEEDGov, we’re passionate about pushing forward what we believe is fair. That’s why we work hard to create environments where reputation matters and meaningful participants are properly onboarded and rewarded. We believe that by doing so, we not only help projects move towards their goals but also give builders, contributors, and delegates the chance to feel that their work is valued and properly compensated.

Therefore, over the past two years, our work can be grouped into three main areas:

  • Delegation: As delegates, we put these principles into action, always working with DAOs that align with our values and long-term vision.

  • Governance Design and Operations: We’ve helped DAOs set up governance frameworks, design and run incentive mechanisms, and oversee governance processes to support their progressive decentralisation.

  • Research and Reporting: We believe that better decisions come from well-informed participants. That’s why we analyse governance trends, assess organisational behaviour, and provide actionable insights to help DAOs and their protocols move forward.
