My name is Gauthier, and I am the founder of Zyfi, a specialized paymaster-as-a-service for all ZK chains. Zyfi has been pioneering gas abstraction across the entire ZKsync ecosystem since its early days in collaboration with Matter Labs.

What does Zyfi provide?

Zyfi enables DApps to sponsor gas or allow users to pay gas fees with any token through its paymaster infrastructure. Zyfi has built the simplest and most flexible solution using a signature-based paymaster flow. Key Metrics:

  • Zyfi has processed over 3 million transactions, primarily on ZKsync Era, but is also deployed on Abstract, Treasure DAO, and zkCronos.
  • Zyfi has collaborated with over 36 DApps (proof), including PancakeSwap, SyncSwap, KOI, and wallet providers like Magic.
  • Today, Zyfi facilitates approximately 10% of all ZKsync Era transactions, with a user base of over 300,000 users.

How has Zyfi contributed to the community?

Zyfi has worked closely with Matter Labs to provide gas grants to numerous protocols, accelerating the adoption of native account abstraction across ZKsync Era. To date, Zyfi has distributed over $70,000 in gas grants, ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 per project, enabling them to offer a fully gas-free experience to their users.

Where has Zyfi innovated?

Zyfi was the first to introduce a signature paymaster flow, allowing projects to integrate custom logic for gas abstraction. This innovation enables:

  • Any token to be used for gas fees.
  • Conditional sponsorship, where gas fees are waived if users hold specific NFTs or complete certain actions.
  • Cross-sponsorship, where third parties can cover gas fees for transactions within specific applications.

The Zyfi dashboard offers projects the ability to:

  • Whitelist domains and contracts.
  • Block specific wallets or addresses.
  • Set daily limits per address or contract to maintain cost control.

What’s next for Zyfi?

Zyfi continues to expand to other ZK chains and enhance its developer experience, aiming to offer the simplest and most efficient paymaster integration for any project. Zyfi also plans to extend the gas grant program beyond ZKsync Era to include all ZK chains.
