Hey ZK Nation,
We’ve been following ZKsync governance since launch and wanted to introduce Karma in case there’s alignment with what the ecosystem needs around funding and accountability.
Karma is a full-stack funding platform for ecosystems and builders. Ecosystems use Karma to fund projects transparently. Builders use it to share progress, earn reputation, and get discovered for more opportunities.
Why we’re reaching out
The discussions on this forum emphasize accountability frameworks for funded programs, including milestones, deliverables, KPIs, and methods for holding participants accountable.
That’s what we’ve spent years building.
What we’ve built
-
Onchain project profiles: Builders create a project profile that works across programs. They showcase work, share updates, and build a reputation onchain.
-
Milestones and updates: Grantees document progress and deliverables. Updates get attested onchain, creating a permanent record of what got shipped. 4,000+ projects are active on Karma.
-
Impact measurement: Automatically track activity from GitHub, smart contracts, and other sources. Funders can evaluate what projects actually deliver, not just what they promised.
-
Multi-program participation: Projects can link to multiple grant rounds, hackathons, and funding programs within a single profile. Reputation carries across ecosystems.
-
For funders and program operators: Single view of all funded projects and their status. Review workflows for processing applications. Data to evaluate which programs and teams deliver results.
Who uses Karma
We have a few well-known names that we have been working with. These include:
Optimism selected Karma as their grants infrastructure provider for Seasons 8/9. The new Optimism Grants home lives at opgrants.io, with AI evaluation workflows helping applicants tighten proposals and reviewers assess at scale.
Polygon is running their /grow Founder Support Program on Karma, an 80M $POL initiative that funds projects from 50K to 1M $POL each.
Celo has been using Karma across their DevRel team, Celo Public Goods, and Prezenti. 400+ projects tracked, 800+ grants, 4,300+ updates. Their monthly Proof of Ship program runs entirely on Karma.
Filecoin chose Karma to manage its $4M ProPGF Batch 2 program, with milestone-based tracking across five funding categories.

What we’re offering
We’d like to invest in mapping out the ZKsync ecosystem. That means deploying our onchain protocol on ZKsync network, building a registry of contributors and funded projects, connecting the dots on who has received funding and what they’ve shipped, and creating visibility into ecosystem impact.
If the community finds it useful for evaluating funding programs, informing allocation decisions, or understanding what’s being built across ZKsync, we can discuss what a deeper engagement would look like.
Would love to hear from anyone involved in ecosystem funding, grants, or builder programs. Drop thoughts in the thread or reach out directly.
