Hey everyone!

I am OPMichael, an early ZKsync user and a big contributor over at Optimism Governance.

I really believe in the grow-the-pie philosophy and hope to be a bridge between ideas of what is working at Optimism and ZKsync.

ZKsync’s goal to increase individual agency and high priority on decentralization resonate with me.

I’ll use this thread to communicate my votes and answer questions.

Looking forward to working with all of you to grow ZKSync!

I voted FOR “[TPP-001] ZKsync Ignite Program: Creating a Liquidity Hub for ZKsync”.

Reasons:

  • I like the dynamic nature of rewards distribution
  • I like that a third-party is distributing these and will adjust based on performance
  • I understand the need to seed enough liquidity to act as a “liquidity hub” for elastic chain.

Things I don’t like:

  • Overall, I think liquidity incentive rewards tend to mostly favor mercenary farmers and that this liquidity may be transient.
  • The overall size of the program is very very large, and while it is a dynamic thread, we rely on the team to respond to changes. There is not a lot of room for iteration on a meta-level.

Either way, looking forward to see the program deployed and excited to learn from the (hopefully positive) results.
