Hello everyone! This will be the thread for the next standing Proposal Review call that is meant to take place on Wednesday, April 23rd.

Proposal authors of active or developing proposals can request time to present & discuss their proposals with the community.

I will update this forum post the day of the call with a proposed agenda based on results from the forum. I will use that agenda as a guide to help facilitate the call.

Proposal Review May 7 - Call Recording

Onchain:

• [ZIP-9] V27 EVM Emulation Upgrade - Executed on L1
• [GAP-3] Authorization for Security Council to Convert Recovered ETH into ZK - Voting started Thursday, May 8th.
  • Question: Why not use ETH to allocate towards another program instead of converting back to ZK?
    • Due to Security Council bylaws (outlined here)
    • Convolutes governance process procedures of distributing ZK
• [TPP-3] ZIP Audit Reimbursement Program (ZARP) - Submitted onchain, voting starts Tuesday, May 13th
  • Questions around market impact: Given the minting and distribution will be spread out over the course of a 9 months, it is not expected to have impact on price given current depth and liquidity of the market. The program can always be paused if Token Assembly sees fit.
• [TPP-4] Deactivate Capped Minters for TPP1 Ignite - Submitted onchain, voting starts Tuesday, May 13th

On forum:

[ZIP-10] Activate ZK Gateway as a Settlement Layer - Will be likely be submitted in coming weeks. There were other priorities for the engineering team over the past weeks which have delayed this submission.
