Hello everyone! This will be the thread for the next standing Proposal Review call that will take place on Wednesday, April 15th.

Proposal authors of active or developing proposals can request time to present & discuss their proposals with the community. These calls are also a time to shared and discuss ecosystem updates.

I will update this forum post the day of the call with a proposed agenda based on results from the forum. I will use that agenda as a guide to help facilitate the call.

Thanks to everyone who joined the Weekly Proposal Review Call! We discussed the new ZIP draft on the forum to update Security Council parameters, the Staking Pilot Season 1 end date, Scopelift taking over Tally operations, and other ecosystem updates regarding ZKsync Lite sunset and ETHPrague!

New Forum Draft:

  • [ZIP-15] Update ZKsync Security Council Parameters - This ZIP reduces the number of Security Council signers from 12 to 8, adjusts signer compensation to $3k per month, and updates the signing thresholds for 8 signers. This proposal does not question the importance of having a Security Council. This proposal reflects a shift in ZKsync’s phase of development and institutional client preferences, aligning the Security Council’s structure and compensation to match the security model the current phase requires. This proposal is expected to go onchain within the next 7 days.
