Proposal Updates
New Forum Draft:
- [ZIP-15] Update ZKsync Security Council Parameters - This ZIP reduces the number of Security Council signers from 12 to 8, adjusts signer compensation to $3k per month, and updates the signing thresholds for 8 signers. This proposal does not question the importance of having a Security Council. This proposal reflects a shift in ZKsync’s phase of development and institutional client preferences, aligning the Security Council’s structure and compensation to match the security model the current phase requires. This proposal is expected to go onchain within the next 7 days.
Governance Resources
- ScopeLift to Take Over Tally Operations for ZKsync. There are not expected interruptions in functionality for the governance portal or staking pilot interface.
Ecosystem Updates
- ZKsync Lite will be fully deprecated on May 4th. The sunset of ZKsync Lite will not affect any other ZKsync systems. Please read more here to prepare.
- Owocki post re Gitcoin Grants still on ZKsync Lite - claim before May 4th!
- ETH Prague: Any Delegates planning on attending? A few ZKsync governance geeks will be speaking:
