Call Notes & Recording
Thanks to everyone who joined the Proposal Review Call on Wednesday! Below is a collection of summarized notes and links shared in the call.
Check out the video description for timestamps on different discussion topics. Given we have the recording, notes will be kept very brief. Please watch the recording for full context!
Emergency Upgrade:
- Notice of Emergency Upgrade: This announcement was shared on Friday, May 16th. The emergency upgrade addresses a bug that was found in the implementation of the ZKsync sequencer’s virtual machine that led to an unprovable batch being generated on Abstract. Full report will be shared soon and Vlad from ML engineering team will join a future call to discuss more details.
Onchain:
- [ZIP-10] Activate ZK Gateway as a Settlement Layer
- Voting period is live!
- Link to diagram explaining Gateway deployment
- [ZIP-11] V28 Precompile Upgrade
- Voting period is live!
- One small update: The renamed the branch “release 28” from “draft 28” so the contracts were updated to reflect the new name
- Note re audit costs: Given the onchain cross-over with TPP-3 ZARP, the audit costs for ZIP-11 have not be included in the ZarpRetro calculation. If ZARP and ZIP-11 passe, the request for reimbursement of audit costs for ZIP-11 will be included in a separate capped minter in the next ZIP submitted.
