For the v31 update, it would be helpful to cover the practical user side as well as the timing:
What should normal Era users expect during the upgrade?
Will there be any action needed from people using wallets or dApps?
How and where will users be notified if transactions, deposits, or withdrawals could be affected?
Clear, simple guidance ahead of the upgrade would help avoid confusion.

Unfortunately we’ll be at a full-day conference today so we won’t be able to join, we’ll catchup the recording later.

Broader governance design review - ZKsync governance was designed in Q4 2023, before the industry’s shift toward institutional adoption. Alongside GAP-5, the ZKsync Association Governance Team is reviewing governance design as a whole and how it fits with the future of ZKsync. If you’ve seen approaches from other ecosystems that accommodate institutional participation, please share them on the forum.
Call format - Expect some experimentation with this call’s format over the coming months.
Onchain: [GAP-5] Update Emergency Upgrade Terminology and Classification - Replaces “emergency upgrade” with “instant upgrade” and splits it into two classifications: security patch and emergency response (reserved for active security incidents).
Technical: [ZIP-16] V31 Interop Bundles Upgrade - Approved by governance vote in late July, but execution on L1 is delayed pending an ongoing Security Council review. Issues were identified in the review of the call data that need to be resolved first.
