Happy Friday ZKsync Delegates!
Below is the thread to gather discussion topics for the upcoming standing Delegate call on Tuesday, October 29th.
Please drop discussion topics for the call in this thread! The goal is to collaboratively curate the agenda by having Delegates propose discussion topics (with reasoning) in this thread. Others can “upvote” a topic by liking the different posts, which will help prioritize the items for the agenda.
I will update this forum post the day of the call with a proposed agenda based on results from the forum. I will use that agenda as a guide to help facilitate the call.

Re next Delegate call (Tuesday, November 12th): This is the week of Devcon in Bangkok, Thailand where it seems quite a few Delegates will be attending (including the Gov Team). The call will take place at 11:30pm Bangkok time, so I assume most folks who are here will not join the call that week. I also understand a lot of Delegates will not be attending Devcon who might still want to hop on the call.
My question is: Do folks prefer to keep the call or reschedule to the Tuesday after Devcon? If we reschedule to the following Tuesday, this would not mess up the regular rhythm - we would just have these calls two weeks in a row and then back to normal bi-weekly schedule.
Please respond to the following poll to help gauge sentiment:
- Reschedule
- Keep call
- Don’t care
If folks want to keep the call, would someone be willing to step in and facilitate the call in my absense that week? I can still post the dicsussion thread the Friday before, but it is helpful to have someone facilitating the discussion/calling on people for questions. You also don’t have to have a facilitator, but this would be a great opportunity for someone to try out this role

CALL NOTES / LINKS
Thanks to everyone who joined the Standing Delegate Call on Tuesday! Below is a collection of summarized notes and links shared in the call from yesterday.

Check out the video description for timestamps on different discussion topics.
FYI: Now that we have the recording, I will keep notes very brief and try to highlight main points/share key links in these summaries.
Actions for Delegates
Discussions:
-
Ongoing request from Gov Team: Delegates are encouraged to share any useful tools or programs they have witnessed in other ecosystems here! It’s encouraged to share ideas in a forum post. Try to describe why you think it would work well inthe ZKsync ecosystem specifically!
-
Re locked ZK tokens: As the Gov Team has received a few questions about delegation & voting with locked tokens, Rafa clarified that token holders are able to delegate and vote with locked tokens that belong to them.
-
There was an exchange between Delegates of their experienes participating governance within various L2 ecosystems. I recommend watching this section in the recording if interested (timestamp in video description).
-
There was an open question on how Delegates can help the ecosystem grow & highlight exciting things happening in the ecosystem (e.g. QuirkID integration with miBA platform in Buenos Aires. No concrete ideas or answers yet, but maybe a nice thing to keep in mind over time. Find timestamp in video description.
NEXT DELEGATE CALL UPDATE
Thank you to everyone who responded to the poll! Due to Devcon, the majority of Delegates decided to reschedule the standing Delegate call that is meant to take place on Nov 12 to the following Tuesday, Nov 19th.
This change has been reflected in the Delegate Call Calendar.
This will not disrupt the existing call schedule, so the next call will proceed as planned the following week (Nov 26) and subsequent calls will continue on the regular two-week cadence.
