Stending Delegate Call Dec. 24th - Reschedule / Cancel?

Hey folks,

The next Delegate call takes place on December 24th (Christmas Eve) which is when most folks will be offline for the holidays. We could reschedule it to the following Tuesday, but that is December 31st (NYE), where I assume most folks will also be offline.

We have two options:

  • Reschedule to later in the week after New Years (e.g. Jan 2nd or 3rd)
  • Cancel this one and wait until the next call on Jan 7th when folks are back online.

Thanks for everyone who responded to the poll! Based on the results, the Delegate call scheduled for next Tuesday (24th) will be CANCELLED.

The next standing Delegate Call will take place on Tuesday, January 7th.

One other thing, and I’d hate to nitpick, but I’d appreciate it if the call started at the top of the hour - 30 min sooner or 30 min later. Not sure how everyone else feels about this.

The next Delegate Call is scheduled for 7 Jan 2025 at 16:30 UTC if I’m not mistaken. Do you suggest moving it to 16:00 UTC?

I’m okay with either of these, although since it was already scheduled let’s perhaps keep it this way for that date and discuss the potential change at the call - what do you say?

Let’s keep the time for the upcoming call, but will add a note to create a poll to share in the next call for folks to vote to change the standing call time going forward.
