Hello zkSync Community,
I recently joined the community and have been studying the protocol in depth. It is clear to me that zkSync is building a groundbreaking infrastructure — from the rollout of ZKnomics and governance mechanisms (Security Council v2, Guardians, ZIP-12), to the technical foundations like Gateway, EVEM equivalence, Prividium, and Airbender. These are the true building blocks of a secure, scalable, and composable zk ecosystem.
However, I believe there is one critical area that must be addressed with the same urgency: a coordinated marketing and communications strategy.
From the outside, zkSync is still largely unknown to a broader audience, despite having superior technology. Many people still remember the frustration around the airdrop distribution, which left a perception gap and some distrust. This has not been actively countered with clear messaging, education, or community-facing campaigns.
zkSync is, in our view, a rising star in Ethereum’s scaling landscape. But a star still needs to be visible. Marketing is not just hype — it is how you align narrative, rebuild trust, and make sure the broader crypto community understands the value of zkSync’s innovations and the utility of the ZK token under ZKnomics.
We encourage the team and governance participants to consider a dedicated marketing roadmap:
- Educational content to explain zkSync’s advantages in simple terms.
- Campaigns highlighting real projects and ecosystem growth.
- Institutional branding to position zkSync as the “zk rollup standard” for Ethereum.
The tech is already world-class. What zkSync needs now is visibility. We believe this will unlock not just adoption, but also restore community trust and reinforce long-term sustainability.
