ZKsync Ignite Program Update - Friday Nov. 22nd 2024

The ZKsync Ignite program officially passed on November 13th with 1.28B votes, thank you to everyone who voted yes!
The proposal was executed on chain last Saturday (November 16th), here is the onchain transaction.

What now?
The DSC (DeFi Steering Committee) convened this week to start going over applications from DeFi protocols to participate in the Ignite program.
The DSC plans to finalize the initial group of DeFi participants next week. We will let you know who those teams are in our next update!
Wen Start?
We do not currently have a hard date set for when the Ignite program will officially start. We are working our hardest with OBL, the DSC, and soon to be selected protocols to make sure everything is setup properly. Please stay tuned for an official start date in an upcoming update.
Next Steps?
We are planning to have at least 1 update every Friday about all the new stuff regarding the Ignite program while things are getting setup. In the meantime, go check out the website that just went live and feel free to ask any questions you have in this thread!
