Program Background
As the administrator of the Community Activation Token Program Proposal (TPP), the ZKsync Foundation will issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to achieve outcomes aligned with the scope of the Community Activation initiative.
For information on how an RFP works, and how RFPs are different from a grants program, please read this post.
RFP 2 Description: ZK Stack Content Experiment
This RFP requests proposals to design and execute a community activation experiment, that can be executed over a maximum of 8 weeks, to test scalable models for community-driven growth of the ZK Stack.
The goal is to explore how coordinated participation, through content creation, engagement amplification, and creative recruitment, can expand ZKsync’s reach and improve developer and user onboarding across the ecosystem.
Proposals may include two stages of execution, or focus on a single strategy. For example:
Part 1 – Volume
A broad participation phase to generate a wide range of community-created content, test engagement strategies, and identify promising contributors.
Part 2 – Impact
A focused collaboration phase selecting top contributors from Part 1 for deeper work on high-quality, outcome-driven content and ecosystem engagement.
Example Focus Areas
- Ecosystem Amplification: Coordinated quote-tweets, reposts, and commentary aligned with ZKsync’s developer and main accounts.
- ZK Stack Education: Community-created explainers, guides, and short-form educational content on ZK Stack products and deployment.
- Creative Talent Discovery: Collaboration with designers, writers, and marketers who can help make the ZKsync ecosystem more visible and human-centered.
The ideal proposal will treat this as a measurable experiment with structured reporting and transparent learnings for future program design.
Budget
The maximum budget which may be distributed for this community activation initiative is 300k ZK (~$15k at $0.05).
Funds will be distributed in two tranches to the administrator:
- 50% at program start (Part 1)
- 50% after mid-term evaluation (Part 2)
