Executive Summary
During Season 1 ZKsync LATAM successfully completed a pivoting from a pure builder community focus to a corporate and institutional approach mixed with Community. The initiative delivered over 30 active CRM leads and a Prividium pilot deal with LNET announced during DevConnect.
Key achievements included institutional introductions to major financial players like LNET and current leads in development, and executing high-impact IRL events such as the ZKsync Ecosystem meetup with 80+ attendees and university sessions reaching 140+ students.
Despite market volatility requiring team restructuring, the initiative improved its capacity to reach traditional world decision-makers and identified the need for on-site presence in key markets like Brazil with native-speaking technical staff.
Season 1 key deliverables
Our team scope is defined by two verticals: -Support Matter Labs BD process in the region by extending the team capacity in local networking and language
-Engage builder and local community with IRL meetups and ZKsync ecosystem
Our key deliverables were:
-
Host in-person events and meetups with Institutions, Projects, Devs, Retail Community.
-
Coordinate and execute online campaigns and activations for ZKsync.
-
Support with top-of-funnel ecosystem outreach and business development.
-
Support to BD team for constant Prividium lead generation on LATAM and deal flow.
Season 1 overview and recap
-
This season 1 has been about rebranding and new focus, built upon our previous achievements during 2025.
-
We transitioned from ZKamigos to ZKsync LATAM. Moving away from a full “web3 traditional” community meetups (hackathons, webinars and startup builder focus) into a more “corporate” and instutitional narrative.
-
We supported directly MatterLabs BD team for scouting, funneling and warm intros that result in Prividium and ZK stack institutional users like LNET partnership.
-
We actively participated in Road to DevConnect and activations during the event itself. Received a grant for a Community meetup that was executed with +7 partners and +80 participants.
-
We had to change some team members early on the season start which created a strong challenge.

Challenges, constraints, and learnings
Market volatility and available budget - As a team that delivers contacts and intros to institutional world along with quality content in Spanish and Portuguese with English as medium to communicate with global teams, we must ensure skilled team members.
Team rotation - We had a strong team in the ZKamigos stage, early in the season we had a rotation of team members due to the new conditions. We were able to re-shape the team, even betting stronger in Brazil, a massive space of institutional adoption for 2026.
Comms strategy - We are still adjusting our Comms strategy to better reflect our objetives of education and value material in local language. We are far from our desired outcome but we have adjusted the team and we are learning to improve fast.
We learnt that is more valuable a direct presence on site with regularity in order to develop the awareness and human connections that result in high quality leads.
Impact assessment (what changed, improved, or was learned as a result of the work)
We provided value to ML business process for Prividium offering in LATAM region:
Our impact is more business-driven today. Our aim is to reach decision makers of the “traditional world” and we have improved drastically over the months in our capacity to do so.
Improved how Prividium can better fit institutions needs:
As part of the process with LNET, we gathered valuable insights that resulted in better PMF of Prividium’s offering (e.g. needs and constraints to better fit legal frameworks, technical implementation requirements).
More IRL day-to-day interactions work better for institutional decision makers
We learned that we need people on site in certain areas (e.g. Brazil) and we need more tech people that speaks native language in order for IT teams to feel confortable to learn about ZKsync’s proposal.
