Hey everyone! I wanted to provide an update on the ZK staking timeline.
We’ve experienced approximately a one-month delay in creating and voting on the onchain TPP proposal compared to our initial operational estimates. Given this delay, the DevConnect schedule, and the typical slowdown in activity during Q4, we’ve coordinated with the ZKsync Association to revise our launch timeline: Season 1 is now targeted for Q1 2026, with Season 2 following in Q2 2026 .
This adjusted timeline aligns well with the ZK Token discussion by Alex, which will provide greater clarity on how ZK staking can enable the ZK token to capture meaningful value generated by the network. It will also inform our approach to implementing future staking seasons in support of this vision.
