Happy Friday ZKsync Delegates!
Below is the thread to gather discussion topics for the upcoming Delegate call scheduled for Tuesday, April 15th.
Please drop discussion topics for the call in this thread! The goal is to collaboratively curate the agenda by having Delegates propose discussion topics (with reasoning) in this thread. Others can “upvote” a topic by liking the different posts, which will help prioritize the items for the agenda.
I will update this forum post the day of the call with a proposed agenda based on results from the thread. I will use that agenda as a guide to help facilitate the call.
Subscribe to the “ZKsync Delegates Calls” calendar to access call invites and links.
Check out the Standing Delegates Call post describing the focus, format, cadence and other details of these standing calls.

TPP Builder Presentations
The purpose of the TPP Builder presentations is to showcase a few tools and mechanics that could be used as “building blocks” for token mechanics. Read more in the TPP Builder Presentation Signup Thread. Please watch the recording to see full details and slides.
Scopelift - creator of the capped minter + factory contracts
- Basic features:
- Unique smart contracts that allow for “just-in-time minting”
- Each capped minter is assigned a maximum number of tokens, known as the “cap,” which is allowed to be minted.
- “ Nested” capped minters allow for a series of capped minters nested within a “parent” capped minter
- Capped minters with the minter role of a capped minter (granted by Token Assembly via TPP) can mint tokens from that supply whenever they choose to, up to the maximum specified.
- Find more information on functionality and all capped minter V2 contracts in ZKcappedminter V2 post.
- Example Use-cases:
- ZK Audit Reimbursement Program (ZARP) token mechanic uses a parent capped minter where child capped minters can request minting rights to a portion of the total cap to be reimbursed for security audit costs for successfully passed ZIPs.

Open Source Observer (OSO) - platform for unified, open data
- Basic Features:
- They currently feature over 100 TB of public datasets in an open data lake.
- Have developed hundreds of open source models that connect these datasets, plus indexing and ETL pipelines that are fully open and forkable.
- Developers can integrate with our API for dashboards, data visualizations, or other analytics tools.
- Useful for:
- Tracking projects and cohorts of projects
- Unifying onchain and off-chain sources of data, eg, GitHub, DefiLlama, package libraries, etc.
- Creating and sharing metrics
- Example Use-cases:
- Airdrop a small token grant to any consumer app that achieves 1000 daily active users for more than 30 days
- Release incentives to defi protocols when they attract $10M of net new TVL for more than 30 days
- Stream 5% of the gas fees generated by applications on the Elastic Network to the developer libraries they use

Unclaimed Airdrop Incident
Shelby provided a brief overview of the unfolding incident discovery regarding the unclaimed ZK from the Airdrop.
Please note:
- All user funds are safe and have never been at risk. The ZKsync protocol and ZK token contract remained secure, and no further ZK is at risk.
- This is an isolated incident caused by a compromised key and confined to the ZK Token airdrop contract.
Please see all official comms around the incident up to this point below:
